it's my FIRST tutorial...finally XD you guys asked for it, so here it is!! soon enough, i'll post up a marker tut
this tutorial is NOT an invitation to mimic my style!!! my work is copywritten/trademarked, and is in the process of being pubished!!! this tut. should be used as a tool to develope your OWN style!!!
This is a great tutorial!! I know I myself use the Circle and ocal meathod when drawing ((given I'm fairly new to this way of drawing, about a month give or take)) I found this really healpful. I found I have more troubles getting the poportions right. Thank you! You have made a great tutorial!!!
(Sry about my spelling, I'm dyslexic, tired, and I have no spell check) ^.^''
Actually thats a really ingenious idea. I'd never thought of trying it that way, thanks for making this tutorial and putting up for all of us to learn from!
YOU. YES YOU. You helped me draw anime/manga without feeling suicidal/like a failure, I used to just draw like I thought everyone else did, I learnt how to do guidelines thanks to you, thank you! So much!
LOL EVERYONE uses guidelines (even if they're not always drawn out :3 ) after using them for years and years, you'll realize your mind will simply break up images into shapes naturally, and you may not even have to draw out the guidelines when you draw! but you are NOT a cheater, my dear! if you're not tracing, you're fine!
So... people like Arina Tanemura and Pink Hinamori used them at some point in time? OwO That really really gets my spirits up, you have no idea!! Thank you! >w<
thank you so much for making these manga tutorials I really need them... hey also... do you mind looking at some of my manga drawings and tell me what you think I really need some help...
HAHAHAHA!!! XDD LOL ooh i understand now!! over here, when you say "guys" it's slang for both boys and girls :3 saying "good luck guys" is like saying "good luck my friends"
THANK YOUUUUUUUUUU!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i have looked through thousands of tutorials over the last two weeks and i can honestly say this is the only one that has helped!!!!!!!! amasing ... ohand im gonna go get some mags and tracing paper!!! ...
This was so helpful! I mean, I haven't started yet, but I already have such a greater grasp on anatomy because of this. I've seen so many artists tell people to use shapes as guidelines, but I never fully understood how helpful it'd be until I saw the pictures in comparison! That's incredible!
And the notes on proportion are so great, too - I could never figure out where the length of the arms (including hands) ended, and I didn't even realize that the thigh and calve are the same length.
This has already been so helpful for me, thank you so much, again, for posting it ;w;.
