This is a great tutorial!! I know I myself use the Circle and ocal meathod when drawing ((given I'm fairly new to this way of drawing, about a month give or take)) I found this really healpful. I found I have more troubles getting the poportions right. Thank you! You have made a great tutorial!!!

(Sry about my spelling, I'm dyslexic, tired, and I have no spell check) ^.^''

Brilliant, really nice simple guide (although no doubt took lots of time and effort to make!!) that contains some excellent 'golden rules'.

I for one know I will use it and remember it, and for this, I thank you.

YOU. YES YOU.
You helped me draw anime/manga without feeling suicidal/like a failure, I used to just draw like I thought everyone else did, I learnt how to do guidelines thanks to you, thank you! So much!

LOL EVERYONE uses guidelines :D (even if they're not always drawn out :3 ) after using them for years and years, you'll realize your mind will simply break up images into shapes naturally, and you may not even have to draw out the guidelines when you draw! :D but you are NOT a cheater, my dear! :glomp: if you're not tracing, you're fine!

Thank you so so SO much for posting this ;///;!!

This was so helpful! I mean, I haven't started yet, but I already have such a greater grasp on anatomy because of this. I've seen so many artists tell people to use shapes as guidelines, but I never fully understood how helpful it'd be until I saw the pictures in comparison! That's incredible!

And the notes on proportion are so great, too - I could never figure out where the length of the arms (including hands) ended, and I didn't even realize that the thigh and calve are the same length.

This has already been so helpful for me, thank you so much, again, for posting it ;w;.
